Huddle for Healthy Youth 2019
The Boys & Girls Club of Massillon celebrated the Annual Pro Football Hall of Fame week with the Huddle For Healthy Youth event as part of the NFL’s Huddle for 100 campaign. The members got the chance to attend a football camp where they were instructed by USA Football Coaches. They were also able to spend the day with the Denver Broncos & Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders writing inspirational messages on stones for the garden, as well as cleaning up the garden at the Club. Even the Denver Bronco’s living mascot, Thunder, made the trip to the club to spend time with members. The Bowlen family, the owners of the Denver Broncos, also stopped by to speak to members and unveil their donation of a new bench for the club’s garden. The bench honors their late father, Pat Bowlen who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame & was a major supporter of the Boys & Girls Club America throughout his life.
