Softball Trainings

Who: All girls ages 6 - 18. 

What: Softball Training sessions - Members will use trainings to develop and/or improve in tactical areas of Hitting, Fielding, Pitching, Base running, overall knowledge of the sport, while also developing skills in teamwork, motivation, and sportsmanship. 

When: Every Tuesday & Thursday from October 1, 2021 - November 30, 2021

Where: Boys & Girls Club of Massillon - 730 Duncan St. SW Massillon, OH 44647

Requirements: Current Membership for the Boys & Girls Club of Massillon.

Coaches' Corner

Katelin Fields is our head instructor for the softball program. Katelin is a 2010 graduate at Ravenna High School, 4-year letter winner in softball, receiving Honorable Mention senior year. She was a 4-sport athlete at Ravenna, receiving many awards for soccer, football, basketball, and softball. She went on to graduate from the University of Mount Union in 2015, where she played soccer and softball. Now, Katelin plays softball year-round for Women's Amateur Softball (W.A.S.), One Nation Slow Pitch, and the Black Softball Circuit (BSC) where she won her first PSL Worlds E Division Ring (WAS). She travels to play all around Ohio and other states such as Georgia, Tennesse, Alabama, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania to compete in women's and co-ed tournaments. Katelin holds the infield down, playing short stop, 2nd base, and 3rd base. 

Kylie Davis is one of the current staff members at the Boys & Girls Club of Massillon. She is a recent graduate of Alliance High School where she was a 3 sport athlete in Softball, Basketball & Track.
