Wrestling registration will be available in September of 2017.

Ivan McClay, former participant in the wrestling program at the Boys & Girls Club of Massillon.

The Boys & Girls Club Wrestling program is open to all "Kids" in the 1st through 6th grades. Wrestlers practice three days per week and wrestle on Sundays at Northwest High School. Wrestlers are taught the basic fundamentals of the sport. Weekly meets will be used to test what has been learned vs. wrestlers from other areas of Northeast Ohio. "Kids" wrestle in their own weight class. Every participant wrestles in a team meet or an all-star meet each week. While team totals are used to determine wins and losses, the focus is placed on the actual progress of the participant from week to week and year to year. Travel to and from meets is the sole responsibility of the parent/guardian.

All participants receive a sweat suit, hat, participation award and entry into the regional tournament.

The program is open to youth ages 6 - 12.
